A studio — and a little community — where movement, mindfulness and puppies come together.
Paws & Pose was founded by Isabella Lopez and Xander Loyd and opened its doors in October 2025, upstairs inside Prana Salon on East Sprague Avenue.
The idea was simple: create something fun for the Spokane community that people genuinely look forward to — especially through the long, grey season when everyone could use a little extra light. Turns out a room full of puppies and gentle yoga does the job beautifully.
Every session is led by trained yoga instructors from local studios, every litter comes from vetted local rescues, shelters and ethical breeders, and every detail — from rest breaks to sanitized mats — is built around the puppies' wellbeing as much as yours.
As featured in The Gonzaga Bulletin, November 2025.
Short sessions, real rest, fresh water, clean spaces, vetted partners. If it isn't good for the puppies, it doesn't happen here.
Beginners, first-timers, nervous yogis, lifelong movers — everyone belongs on these mats. No judgment, just joy.
Spokane Valley born and raised — instructors from local studios, puppies from local partners (many of them adoptable), and every so often a mini-piglet pop-up, because some weekends deserve an extra round of joy.
Your mat is waiting. So is a puppy who has no idea how good your weekend is about to get.
